ok so I am logged in but have no idea how to post to the research blog on the other page. So I asked the question with my research what could be done to make coupon shopping easier and got an overwhelming response of training! Training for cashiers and the managers.

OK I AM DEALING WITH THE SAME PROBLEM KATHY IS DEALING WITH.... Ive seen a lot over the past few days. They have changed their background and most people dont like it. They changed it yesturday around 2:00. Many people absolutely hate the change. I did do interviews and im going to be doing some more because I havent got any replys nto even from the editor...

ReplyDeleteA couple of months ago I joined an online running group founded by Nike called "Nike Plus". Nike Plus connects people from around the world to a specific location to conquer one goal; to be fit and happy. Like any great thing there are things that just can't be ignored such as:
1) Lack of a live chat. When something is posted sometimes it takes days for a response. If Nike applies a live chat to the forums and message boards a lot of people using Nike Plus would have a more enjoyable experience because they have someone they can talk to in real time while exchanging ideas and questions.
2) Compatible Software. Nike Plus does not seem to be compatible with FireFox. Nike Plus has recently updated the website to a “New and Improved” webpage that is more technical and many users have complained that the pages are not loading correctly if using anything other than internet explorer.
3) A Change for the Best? The New site is fairly complicated for those who are not of the computer era. Unlike the old Nike Plus page this new site had more buttons and links that take you where you need to go while the older site had a plain layout and finding your way around was easier.
4) Nike is absent. In the feedback section of Nike Plus there are many people who complain about their IPod not syncing with the Nike Plus webpage or missing data and runs. There is a status bar on the far right side of the page that said, “Nike is currently working on: NONE.” Over the past couple of weeks I have kept my eye on the status bar to see if Nike has fixed any of the many problems yet the status has not changed.
5) Self Centered. Many users of Nike Plus have the same problems but instead of taking the time and going through the feedback to find a solution to their problem through feedback from the community they just post their question on top of questions and answers that relate to their problem.
6) Language. When first signing on to Nike plus they ask for language, region and location. Nike Plus separates the languages to a certain extent but when entering forums an English speaker may encounter Portuguese, Spanish, or even Russian. If Nike plans on continuing grouping together forums it would be easier for all users to include a translated section so that communication is clear.
7) Isolated. When I first started using Nike Plus I felt very isolated because updates in the community were nearly absent. The only way to become in touch with the community is by exploring the webpage. Nike urges users to become part of a challenge or team but finding the perfect niche is hard when there isn’t an active form of communication.
I missed class last friday and need to be in someones group someone help me.
